In past, researchers have found various XSS (cross-site scripting) vulnerabilities in Google services allowing hackers to gain un-authorized access to users accounts which are now patched, but in an entirely new type of "Frame Injection Vulnerability" found by Adrian Pastor of the GNUCitizen, the researcher displayed how attackers can create authentic-looking spoof pages meant to steal user login information, the exploit allows attackers to inject third-party content into Google pages bypassing phising filters.

Adrian posted proof-of-concept (do not enter any login info here) of this new exploit allowing him to inject fake Gmail login frame inside Google pages hosted on mail.Google.com domain, the result page looks legitimate as the domain displayed in user address bar is mail.google.com increasing the hackers chances of getting the login data.

Today I will be sharing a pretty unknown trick to create hidden text files using nothing but Notepad, you can use this simple trick to hide plain text data without using any third-party utility or simply use it to impress your friends showing your geekness, the text files created using the method below won't show anywhere in DOS or Windows irrespective of the hidden and system display file-settings, the files created using this can only be accessed if you know the correct file-name used while creating the file.

3. Now type in notepad VisibleFile.txt:HiddenFile.txt and hit Enter, you can change VisibleFile.txt and HiddenFile.txt to names of your choice (notice the : between both file-names), You will be prompted to Create a New file click Yes as shown below.

In an on-going legal battle with GEMA, Rapidshare received an huge blow when a German court ruled that Rapidshare.Com is not doing enough to stop uploading of copyrighted content on their servers, The court said that the steps taken by Rapidshare using MD5 Hash based content filtering to block previously removed material is not enough and can easily be bypassed changing a few bytes by adding/removing/altering the file contents, the court also said that the company has to "proactively check content before publishing it", according to the court ruling Rapidshare should also log and check IP numbers of potential copyright infringers.

Without a viable business model after removing copyrighted content, Rapidshare might face shutdown as there is no Safe Harbor provision in German copyright laws similar to the DMCA, which protects them from liability as long as they remove the infringing content after being notified with a takedown notice.
